On Saturday, I drove to Barnes & Noble to buy my copy of
A Nameless Witch, A. Lee Martinez's latest release. It was a nice, large store, and Mr. Martinez looked like he was staying pretty busy. Ended up getting S.M. Stirling's
Dies The Fire,
Jim C. Hines' Goblin Hero, and
Rosemary Clement-Moore's Prom Dates From Hell. As luck would have it, Ms. Clement-Moore was in the store, too, so I got two books signed.
All three authors are lovely, talented people, and I wish them the best of luck in their careers. (I'm sure Mr. Stirling is a lovely, talented person, too, but I don't think he needs my luck.)
