Ever read a book and like it so much you want to just turn back to page one and start over? That's how I felt when I finished Max Brooks'
World War Z. I loved it. Absolutely loved it. It's such a unique twist on zombie horror (it's an oral history from some of the survivors of the world-wide zombie war). Reading it is like reading a non-fiction account of a fictional event. Everything is so vivid, you can't help but feel some measure of fear for the people you're reading about, even though, of course, they survived.
Plan B Productions (Brad Pitt's production company) has the filming rights. I hope they don't screw it up. This could easily turn out to be an awesome film. The hard part would be figuring out which of the stories in the book to turn into the movie. There are so many great ones to choose from.

Also, if you haven't picked up your copy of
A. Lee Martinez's A Nameless Witch, you're missing another great book. It was a one-sitting read.
